Annotations for blog articles

Step 1: Describing the different types of annotations that I made on the article
As I read through the article I read through and noticed  a few things that I agreed with, things I didn't understand, and things that  I just wanted to summarize in my own words. Some of the marks I made throughout the reading had to do with the definition of some words. For example, I wrote “First order thinking” in the margin and gave a few examples of what I thought it meant after reading over the definitions in the reading. I did the same for Second order thinking and a few other words in the article. The pattern i have when i annotate is the things that i continuously don't understand or topics i feel are important that may potentially be brought up in class The different symbols I use when annotating are underline the bolder statements in the readings. I also circle the things I don't understand that I need to go back and reflect or ask questions. Lastly i make notes of when the author repeats his or her ideas.
James - notices the title to get an idea of what he's reading he also annotates the things your interested in or relate too. He paraphrases things that are important, always looking out for the main idea
Corrine- picks  out what she thinks the article is mainly trying to say. Connects outside articles to what she is reading. Connected the left and right brain thinking to 1st and 2nd order
Just jots down things that she doesn't understand
